With a career in the advertising and fashion industries spanning almost two decades, my marketing expertise is an amalagmation of professional creative experience including copywriting, marketing, trend research, design, merchandising and style consultation.

Over the last 17 years, my passion for communication and connection in writing has shaped my career as a copywriter. I’ve worked in print, e-commerce and OLA, and I currently have the pleasure of working as a copywriter for The Home Depot's internal marketing department.

I have been with THD for the last 5.5 years, starting on the Catalog team in November of 2020, and making a lateral move to the Promotions & Events about a year later, where I currently wear many copywriting hats, so-to-speak. I own copy over multiple departments, and write copy for the print ad, B2C content for online (both from the perspective of customer engagement as well as shopping experiences), SEO copy and banner ads, along with other special projects we do in partnership with organizations such as the  U.S. Coast Guard and ESPN Game Day. 

Before I came to land at The Home Depot, I worked at PureRed in Atlanta, as the main copywriter on fashion-based product copy for Stein Mart’s e-commerce, as well as working on OLA and print ad projects for several other accounts including U.S. Foods, DGX, Old Time Pottery, King’s and Balducci’s.

Previous to my position at PureRed, Harmon Group, based in Nashville, TN, gave me my start in marketing. There, I worked for 6 years as a copywriter, trend researcher, blogger and style consultant, developing and managing web content for several of our clients.

I have nearly 30 combined years of education and work experience in design and advertising fields, specifically for b2c advertising with national brands, as well as in luxury and fashion-based industries. This experience gives me with a solid foundation with which to blend the worlds of communication and the creative arts.
